Layer 7's Mike Amundsen and Alex Gaber Are Featured Speakers at QCon San Francisco 2012
Layer 7 Technologies, a leading provider of API connectivity solutions for the enterprise, today announced that Principal API Architect Mike Amundsen and API Evangelist Alex Gaber will each lead a session at QCon San Francisco 2012, a developer-driven conference focused on the issues and trends impacting the software development community.
At QCon, Amundsen will provide his first-hand experience in application development on hypermedia APIs during his session, “Real-Life Stories on Building Hypermedia APIs.” He will offer a working definition for hypermedia types, with multiple working examples of those hypermedia APIs. The session will be on Wednesday, November 7 from 2:40 – 3:30 p.m. PT.
Gaber will address how to build cross-platform mobile apps using PhoneGap in his QCon session, "HTML5 Cross Platform Mobile Apps Integrating APIs." The session is scheduled for Friday, November 9 from 10:30 – 11:20 a.m. PT.
Layer 7, who is also sponsoring the event, will be exhibiting in booth #11. The Layer 7 team will be providing interested parties with demonstrations and discussions on the company's new cloud-based API management service APIfy.co, which provides all the tools necessary for organizations to open their APIs to outside developers, without the need of IT.

As API Architect at Layer 7, Mike Amundsen heads up the company's API Architecture & Design Practice in North America.
