Wizards Conjure Up Magic on Alaska Cruise
Winnetka, CA, October 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Whether by broomstick or other magical conveyances... wizards and mortals from around the world will descend upon Alaska next summer for Wizards At Sea: July 6-13, 2013. Actor Chris Rankin, who plays Percy Weasley, will be on board along with the internet sensation parody “sister act” The Hillywood Show. Rounding out the on-board program is John Granger, named “The Dean of Harry Potter Scholars” by Time Magazine, David Gras, a fantasy literature presenter, and fantasy author Valerie Frankel.
This is a family-friendly themed cruise... produced by fans for fans. Special Events to include: Welcome Aboard Ceremony; Q & A; Classes in Magical Subjects; Round-Table Discussions; Film Festival; Noel Ball; Scavenger Hunt; Private Karaoke Party; Costume Event & Contest; Auction for Charity; Game-Show style Trivia Contests; Photo Shoot; Autograph Session and Vendors Room. "The first of its kind, this weeklong interactive event will engage fans and special guests alike in the smaller, more intimate setting of a floating resort," says event producer Linda Wolf.
Holland America's whimsically-beautiful Westerdam will sail round-trip from Seattle visiting Juneau, Glacier Bay, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria, B.C. Events will take place during the time at sea so passengers can enjoy the spell-binding adventures that await them ashore in Alaska, The Great Land. A magical time will be had by all.
