Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) October 31, 2012

Planning for food is essential to any type of emergency preparedness situation, as well as for home or office emergency kits; gourmet freeze dried food is now an addition to A-Pack Ready's, LLC product line. Gourmet freeze dried food is great for a personal stash to withstand harsh weather, like Hurricane Sandy, and widespread power outages that the East Coast is currently experiencing and North Colorado Springs experienced on Monday, October 29, 2012.

Currently distributing freeze dried food with Survival Cave Food Products (Survival Cave, Inc.), A-Pack Ready has taken on their entire line of food products, to include the 360 bundles offering over 4,000 servings that can last an individual 360 days out the year on 2,000 calories a day. That number is even higher if the food is rationed down to 1,000 calories a day.

The product line consists of 28 or 14.5 oz cans of beef, turkey, chicken, pork, and ground beef, and 8 different serving size combinations of the freeze dried food.

The buckets of serving sizes include re-sealable pouches that can stay fresh for another year after opening. Re-sealable pouches make rationing last longer and go further. They also include breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts, and beverages.

With these food products, getting bored of eating the same thing is a concern no more. These bucket servings also last for 20 years, so there is no worry about switching out food storages to maintain the freshness of the food--an amazing deal for the quality and price of the product.

The canned meat is another wonderful addition to A-Pack Ready, LLC's emergency food product line. Low in sodium and fat, these meats are packed full of great flavor. Just like the gourmet food buckets last many years, the canned meats also last from 12-15 years in the can, although there truly is no expiration date.

Packaged only with meat, the weight of these cans do not include water or broth, which some manufacturers count on to make product weight. These canned meats aren't available in any stores, but only through the exclusive dealers of Survival Cave, Inc., of which A-Pack Ready is proud to announce that they are among the list of authorized dealers for this gourmet food manufacturer company. Currently, the canned meats are offered only in a pack of twelve.

"These products are a great addition to our line," Audrey commented. "These products taste great, and we're able to provide them at amazing prices." Still in the works of drawing up a marketing plan for discounts, the owners of this small business are very optimistic for the business' future.

The original plan for A-Pack Ready was to start small, offering emergency food bars and MRE entrees. "We knew the focus of our company would be on helping families protect what they love, and eventually that meant providing better quality food for those homes with children."

"In an emergency situation, food should be the last concern of a family, whether they have children or not," Daniel commented strongly on the subject of the addition of this gourmet food product to their line.

These products will be completely added to the online inventory by close of business Monday, November 5th, 2012. The company is planning on a great sales event for election day, November 6th.

A-Pack Ready has chosen to carry products such as these to ensure that the basic needs of anyone preparing can be met at low costs. Education in emergency preparedness awareness is the core of A-Pack Ready, LLC. Their products have been chosen specifically for their low cost, as well as quality. APR focuses on introductory education in emergency items and emergency preparedness and awareness.

A-Pack Ready was formed as of May 31, 2012 as a Limited Liability Company. In good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State, this company's mission is to educate Americans in the need to prepare for themselves on low budgets.
