Keeping track of credit card rewards programs can be daunting, but a new site, called Rewardo.co, provides consumers with up-to-date insight.

With the holiday shopping season rapidly approaching, many consumers are beginning to think about large, end-of-the-year purchases—which means that many consumers are also thinking about credit card reward programs. Different credit card companies offer different promotions and “reward points,” often based on certain kinds of purchases; these programs often rotate on a quarterly basis. This means that consumers have ample opportunities to get rewards, but keeping up with the different programs can prove frustrating, especially for shoppers with several credit cards. For those consumers, a new site called Rewardo.co offers information and insights to make their end-of-the-year shopping easier and more effective than ever before.

A simple site with a clean interface, the just-launched Rewardo.co is a one-stop-shop for consumers who need to keep track of current and ongoing credit card reward programs. The site centers on a chart, which lists several major credit cards and then provides information on current promotions—the amount of cash back currently on offer, and the kinds of purchases required to qualify for these rewards.

Rewardo.co comes from the mind of developer Jason Kay, who says the idea for the site came from his own frustrations as a consumer. “Sometimes I might go to make a relatively large purchase, whether it is buying a new TV or booking an airline ticket, and I will have to stop to think about which card I should use to make the purchase,” Kay explains. “Honestly, I find this to be annoying, and I am sure that other consumers do as well. Credit card reward programs have the potential to make our lives better, but often they just lead to frustration and complication—but hopefully this site will ease that frustration, and help consumers to simplify their lives.”

Though Kay started the site largely for himself, he hopes that Rewardo.co will prove useful to other credit card users throughout the country. “The idea is for this to be a running resource, updated on at least a quarterly basis so as to keep up with new deals and promotions,” Kay affirms. “Rewardo.co is a site unlike any other, providing consumers with much-needed information, and ultimately helping them to make prudent purchasing decisions.”
