Integrative Nutrition Announces New Partnerships with Goddard College and California State University Long Beach

Graduates of Integrative Nutrition's Health Coach Training Program and Advanced Business Course Now Eligible to Earn One Year of College Credits or Continuing Education Units

New York, NY (PRWEB) October 30, 2012

The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), the world's largest nutrition school, is proud to announce its new partnerships with Goddard College and California State University Long Beach. Integrative Nutrition's flagship course the Health Coach Training Program and second-year course, the Immersion Program, are now equivalent to one year of college credits at the higher education institutions.

“It's part of our mission at Integrative Nutrition to empower our students and graduates with incredible professional and academic opportunities,” said Integrative Nutrition Founder, Director, and Primary Teacher Joshua Rosenthal, MScEd. “I am thrilled that these partnerships add even more value to the Integrative Nutrition education and reflect the high caliber of our courses. Our students now get the training they need to launch new careers as Health Coaches while earning up to a full year in college credits towards a Bachelor's degree – at a fraction of the cost of most universities. I encourage all students and alumni to consider taking advantage of this incredible opportunity.”

Graduates of the Health Coach Training Program, a yearlong online course that combines nutrition education with real-world business training, may now apply up to 29 credits in transfer towards a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) at Goddard College. Graduates of the Immersion Program, Integrative Nutrition's free six-month course that offers advanced business training, may transfer an additional 11 credits for a total of up to 40 credits (equivalent to 430 hours of study and fieldwork). Goddard is an internationally recognized liberal arts college that operates on an intensive low-residency model.

Graduates of the Health Coach Training Program are also eligible to earn 43 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through the College of Continuing and Professional Education at California State University Long Beach. These 43 CEUs (430 hours) are nearly equivalent to 29 credits (435 hours) of an undergraduate degree.

These new partnerships complement Integrative Nutrition's other academic affiliations with the National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS) and the State University of New York (SUNY) at Purchase College, which similarly empower Integrative Nutrition graduates to apply for up to 40 college credits, receive 43 CEUs, and earn a certificate degree.

“We're always striving to ensure that our students receive the best Health Coach training in the world,” said Rosenthal. “With these additional partnerships, higher education is now more accessible, flexible, and affordable for anyone who's passionate about health and wellness and wants to change the world!”
