Set against the backdrop of the multicultural and vibrant mini-metropolis of Harlem USA, LENOX AVENUE follows the fast-paced man-tales of three best friends as they traverse the complexities of dating, sex and love intertwined with the messiness of friendship and flanked by the pressures of their professional careers.

Created by ValDean Entertainment, the production company founded by Royal Tenenbaums and LENOX AVENUE star Al Thompson, each episode of LENOX AVENUE uniquely showcases the rich history and cultural diversity of Harlem as seen in the everyday lives and through the eyes of relatable and engaging characters.

“Harlem has always been a Mecca for culture and over the years I've watched it go through more and more intercultural expansion,” said Al Thompson about his hometown. “I'm really excited to finally shine a spotlight on all the cultural diversity and richness that lives here. It's about time that Harlem got its own TV series.”

The series, being described as Boomerang with a Love Jones vibe and the male version of SEX IN THE CITY features an all-star ensemble cast including Al Thompson (Love Don't Cost a Thing, the Royal Tenenbaums), Dorian Missick (TNT's Southland), Ryan Vigilant (Gossip Girl), Chenoa Maxwell (Hav Plenty), Victor Williams (King of Queens), Lord Jamar (Brand Nubian).

With buzz building solely based on the release of the series trailer, LENOX AVENUE is already garnering rave reviews at festivals across the country as well as from fans in the social sphere.

LENOX AVENUE will premiere exclusively on on Monday, October 27, 2012 at 10AM PDT and will air periodically thereafter.

LENOX AVENUE is a sexy soap-opera style drama following the lives of a new generation of Harlemites, three male best friends living in uptown Manhattan (also known as Harlem USA) and navigating the complexities of its modern dating scene, the messiness of friendship and the pressures of their professional careers. Inspired by a need to fill the void of multicultural representation on-screen, LENOX AVENUE showcases a diverse and multilayered makeup of multicultural imagery, histories and characters. The ultimate goal is to broaden the view and scope of African-American life on-screen while giving underused actors opportunities and underserved audiences relatable and engaging content. With a diverse cast and unique backdrop that marries Harlem's old sensibilities with its new ambitions, LENOX AVENUE presents Harlem as a rich multidimensional landscape unprecedentedly seen in cinema and television and as its own distinct character in this series. LENOX AVENUE airs Mondays at 10am EDT.
