TubeExits: - This is not a free app but only costs .69p, so it is very affordable. This one is for anyone who uses the London Underground often. The basic description of the app is that Tube Exits tells you which carriage to board to always arrive adjacent to the platform exit you need, the quickest route (and shortest transfer) for your journey, and live line status information. The app was initially first designed for the UK but has since been launched for the Berlin and Paris metro systems, with Hong Kong, Madrid, Barcelona and Rome to come.
UK Bus Checker: - You are able to receive instant and up-to-date arrival information for each bus. This is the first app of its kind to be launched. The information if for many towns and cities and London and this information is done in real-time based on GPS receivers located inside the actual bus.
Outdoors GPS Great Britain with National Parks OS Maps: - This is a great Ordinance Survey mapping and GPS app for Britain's walkers, runners, cyclists and mountaineers. This app is a must have for the UK's outdoor enthusiasts. The OS maps are in digital form and gives great navigation for the countryside and walkers would love the off-road mapping availability. This one has received many high ratings.
Petrol Prices Pro: - This one is really handy to have as it gives live petrol pricing data. Instead of using petrol to find the cheapest prices in town, just go to this app and retrieve that information-this is not a flashy app, it provides simplicity, clarity and is user friendly. Reliability is definitely a bonus point with this app.
