ROK 1200W Mitre Saw: Reviewed & Discounted at Toolbox

Online retailer has gathered more reviews over the last couple of weeks on the currently trending ROK products. The attention this week is focused on the smaller, 1200W mitre bench saw that Toolbox has placed on sale for a limited period of time.

Evesham, Worcestershire (PRWEB UK) 28 October 2012

Since the ROK tool range officially launched a few months back, they have been one of the biggest trending topics of conversation in the tool market. The guys at Toolbox put this down to the quality of the tools and the price-point which they've managed to hit, which has managed to dumbfound many a tool expert.

Several big names in the tool industry have had the pleasure of witnessing and using the ROK tools first hand; in fact, just this week two people have provided a review of the ROK RPBS1200 1200W mitre saw which appears to be nothing but praise.

“The ROK RPBS1200 will give you the power to cut timber up to 60mm thick and 120mm wide at 90˚and comes packed with features that make it safe, simple and accurate to use. It has a powerful 1200W motor, allied to a 210mm diameter blade that produces smooth, clean cuts in a variety of timbers as well as man-made materials such as chipboard, plywood and MDF.

“The RPBS1200 has a further trick up its sleeve, as it's able to pivot to one side to enable bevel cutting. This means you can cut wide mitres; say for making a drawer box, and compound mitres – a combination of a bevel and a mitre cut. Compound cuts are very hard to make manually – with a tenon saw, for example but the ROK makes light work of them.

“And the icing on the cake is a laser guide, which projects a line across the work and makes lining up your work very easy.”

The entire review can be found on the Toolbox blog at:

Since the review, the marketing squad at Toolbox have decided to run a promotional discount on the ROK 1200w mitre saw to coincide with the extra traffic obtained from the review. Scott Morris, E-Commerce Manager explains the choice made: “Since the ROK mitre saw will be getting a lot of publicity, it makes sense to us to drop the price a little bit, especially in the run up to Christmas. A price drop will encourage people to buy one and give it a try; this will allow them to see the quality of the product which will hopefully lead to sales on other models in the ROK range and recommendations to friends. We just want to get the word out there about these ROK products and this seems like the best way to accomplish it!” currently operates on the new, rebranded and ever-expanding Online Home Retail Network which currently runs around 50 websites. These sites sell a wide variety of products, varying from bathroom taps and lights to emergency winter survival kits. Online Home Retail Limited first started out as Plumbworld Ltd back in 1999 and since then it has been bought by the Grafton Group PLC in 2006 and received a major rebrand in 2012. The business now employs 60 people in its purpose built warehouse/offices and has a total turnover nearing £25 million per year.
