Phoenix Dedicated Server Hosting Center of Eminent Web Host Undergoes Retroactive Upgrade
After having launched a new web hosting center recently in South Bend, Indiana, and having been impressed by the technical configuration, ProlimeHost Pvt Ltd. has upgraded their Phoenix dedicated server hosting center to a similar technical configuration. The leading dedicated web hosting expects this to bring the Phoenix datacenter performance to the same level as their South Bend center. The upgrade will benefit both their new and existing customers, as per the company claims.

After having undergone an ocean of changes, upgrades and launches in the past three months, it is of no surprise that many web hosting industry analysts have started labeling ProlimeHost Pvt. Ltd. as the “Hurricane”. And right after assessing the performances of the first quarter of upgrades of pricing and control software, the Hurricane has stirred yet another storm – albeit a positive one as almost always – among its clients based off from their Phoenix dedicated server center. The company has implemented a set of changes in technical configurations in their Phoenix data center following the pattern of their new high-performing South Bend (Indiana) data center.
“The changes are not major in technical terms, but the impacts are major”, said Tom Beck, the Chief Technical Officer of the web hosting major. “These changes are made to smartly configure the network routing paths for placing the web caches closer to the live data within the data center. This is followed by minimizing the number of network hops to reduce the total logic processing over the full network path spanning from the server to the end-client. As a result, in spite of adding minimal hardware, the smartness of the new configuration will significantly enhance the network speed of the machines. So the dedicated servers will be able to cater to more webpages within the same time, with a performance enhancement ranging between 20% and 30% compared to what it earlier was, depending upon the total network load.”
Citing these changes in the Phoenix center as a great example of adoption of advanced mathematical models into modern technology, Beck expressed his thankfulness to the engineering team responsible for setting up their prior data center in South Bend. “Phoenix happened today because South Bend happened yesterday. What had caught our eyes was the enhancement of network performance in the new data center in spite of what seemed to be an investment similar for networks into our Phoenix data center. This had led us to asking, what did we miss in Phoenix?”
As per the company reports, the new upgrades of the Phoenix data center dedicated servers has already been applied to both the Linux as well as the Windows based networks. As a result, the existing clients will already notice a 20-30% speed-up of their dedicated server based operations, especially in terms of near-zero network delay within the datacenter even in high web traffic situations. The new clients using the Phoenix data center will also reap the benefits.
“The Hurricane is blowing fast, and is right now ahead of most part of the industry in its space. This is a healthy sign for them”, said a web server hosting industry analyst, referring to the series of recent upgrades and changes carried out by Prolime Host. Going by what the analyst had to say, the web hosting major is expected to be up for a major boost in client base and profits in the ongoing October-December 2012 quarter.
