Aggie entrepreneurs are moving full speed ahead with outstanding growth and determination. The Mays Business School's Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University announced the recipients of the 8th Annual Aggie 100, honoring the fastest growing Aggie-owned or Aggie-led businesses in the world. The honorees were recognized by nearly 700 attendees at a luncheon held at The Zone Club at Kyle Field on Friday.
“Aggies have paved roads to success across industries and business sectors, as well as across generations,” said Dr. Richard H. Lester, Executive Director of the Mays Business School's Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship. “Aggie leaders have proven time and time again that even in tough economic times, solid business ideas, tenacity and hard work pay off.”
Top ranking firm, Navidad Resources, based in Tyler, Texas, experienced a compound annual growth rate of 206.15% from 2009 through 2011. The Aggie 100 in its entirety may be viewed at http://www.aggie100.com.
