Halo Business Intelligence "72 Hour Challenge" Announced
Software developer aims to show it can have full featured business intelligence up and running in virtually any organization in just three days.
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) October 25, 2012
Looking to disprove the long-held notion that getting an enterprise data warehouse and analytics system up and running is a months-long endeavor, iQ for Business Inc. today announced its “72 Hour Challenge,” a program in which the company guarantees that it can install and have running its new Halo Business Intelligence Platform (Halo BI) in nearly any organization in just three business days.
Launched in early September, Halo BI is an enterprise software system that includes components for merging data from mainline business systems, warehousing and analyzing the merged data, and displaying the results as reports, spreadsheets or graphical “dashboards” for computers, tablets and mobile phones. Halo BI also includes collaboration tools that allow users to share and discuss dashboard items with colleagues or business associates, assign tasks and track results from within the system.
Built on an open platform that uses common software and databases from Microsoft, Halo BI comes with pre-built data connectors for hundreds of popular business systems, menu-guided setup and management, and a modular architecture that lets organizations pick and choose the components they want. Coupled, these features all but eliminate the complexities found in most business intelligence systems allowing Halo BI to be installed, configured and running in a matter of hours.
“It's a brand new ballgame in business reporting and analytics,” said Brandon Kirby, Vice President of Technology and Business Development at iQ for Business. “Traditionally business intelligence systems forced a trade-off between features and functionality,” he said. “If you wanted something up a running fast you were looking at limited-focus tools like visualization or reporting systems. And if you wanted full scope, enterprise-class BI you were looking at long implementation cycles that could take months to start producing results. Halo BI delivers both the fast implementation and the full feature set that a lot of companies had simply written off as a pipe dream.”
Halo BI is designed for midsized organizations in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, and retail, where access to accurate data is critical, but technical and IT resources are often limited. For the Halo Business Intelligence 72 Hour challenge, iQ for Business will go to a challenger's facility, install, configure and demonstrate a functional Halo BI pilot system using the organization's data in three business days or less. If iQ for Business fails, the challenger has no further obligation. If the Halo BI demonstration is a success, the challenger has the opportunity to continue with the system and engage iQ for further enhancements, product training and a larger enterprise deployment.
“Our aim is to show that it is possible to rollout an enterprise-class BI system quickly and cost-effectively without impacting IT staff, employing a team of consultants, or up-ending business operations,” Kirby said. “People will be surprised at how quickly Halo BI can improve their business and boost their bottom line.”
The Halo Business Intelligence 72 Hour Challenge is open to all qualifying organizations in North America. For more information, visit http://halobi.com/72-hour-challenge/, or call iQ for Business toll free at (888) 300-0219.
