Nicolites Respond to a Recent Report that Second-hand Vapour smoke is Harmless.
A recent study has shown that the vapour released from electronic cigarettes is virtually harmless to others around.
(PRWEB UK) 25 October 2012
Researchers at the Inhalation Toxicology Journal found that the vapour released, ‘Provides no significant risk of harm to health in adults or children.' The first of its kind study explored levels of toxicology indoors comparing two rooms, one with tobacco smoke and the other with vapour released from electronic cigarettes. Whilst the tobacco smoke showed results of harmful, cancer causing smoke, the vapour showed none.
As Nicolites understands, electronic cigarettes are always the healthier and safer option than the traditional type. Electronic cigarettes look, taste and satisfy nicotine cravings without the harmful chemicals. For this reason they are not subject to the smoking ban and can be used in public areas alongside being much more cost effective than traditional cigarettes.
Managing Director, Nikhil Nathwani said, ‘We are delighted with the results found by the Inhalation Toxicology Journal and hope that such significant, independent proof that electronic cigarettes are healthier will encourage people to make the switch. As smoking related deaths are the most preventable type of death in the UK, Nicolites hopes to not only reduce this but also the amount of passive smoke inhaled by non smokers.'
Nicolites hopes that such findings will be widely reported throughout the media and increase the knowledge of electronic cigarettes and their fewer harmful effects.
Nicolites is now the leading and most widely available brand of electric cigarette in the UK; they have formed business partnerships with many of the largest retailers to bring these wonderful innovations right on to the doorstep of every person in the country. Established in late 2007, Nicolites has grown into a multi-million pound company with international distribution networks and continues to grow at a phenomenal rate.
