Kitson Boards Announces Broken Board Contest
Any Surf or Paddle boarder who's ever damaged a board while riding the waves will now get the chance to enter to win a Semi Gun
Olympia, WA (PRWEB) October 24, 2012
From now until November 30th, Kitson Boards, the leading manufacturer of carbon fiber surfboards, paddle boards and wakesurf boards in the USA, is running a contest aimed at any surfer who's ever damaged a board out on the water.
The surfboard company is asking any one with a damaged board to take a photo of the board and submit the image and a short story regarding the event to their Facebook page or emailed to their Communications Director Heather (at) KitsonBoards.com
The giveaway, which targets US residences only, will give a brand new Semi Gun 7' 2" to the winner of the contest with second and third runner up prize being $300 and $100 off the purchase of any new Kitson Board.
The idea for the contest came shortly after an employee at Kitson Boards broke his Merrick surfboard while out on the waves in Westport, Washington.
"The waves were really good that day and I didn't get to surf anymore. Next time I'm getting a board that won't break as easily," said Kitson Board Admin Service Supervisor, Rory Douglas.
Winners of the board contest cannot combine the discount with any other promotions.
