Abington Family Dental Care takes pride in supporting their troops by planning several fall oriented events to aid the military in staying positive through the holidays. Offering cash for candy to send overseas and running a Duty Free Dental Care Contest are some of the ways Abington Family Dental Care is giving their thanks, but they can't do it without your help.

Abington, MA (PRWEB) October 24, 2012

Exchange your Halloween candy for cash on Friday, Nov. 2 with Abington Family Dental Care. With sometimes excessive amounts of candy collected from Halloween, Abington Family Dental Care is giving you a chance to share.

Abington Family Dental Care is offering cash at $1 per pound with a limit of up to $10. All of the candy collected will be sent to service members overseas. Every little piece of home helps troops to stay positive, and Abington Family Dental Care wants to send them just a little taste of the fall festivities citizens are enjoying.

The candy for cash exchange will take place on Friday, Nov. 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at their dental office.

There are 1,414,000 people serving overseas, according to online sources, and Abington Family Dental Care is making several attempts to honor those who have served for our country. Aside from sending them candy overseas, they are hosting a contest called Duty Free Dental Care.

They have provided information on their website for voters to read about active or retired service members who are currently seeking dental treatment. Vote for the one you feel most deserves it, and the winner will receive up to $2,000 in free dental services. Voting will close on November 9 and a winner will be announced.
