Higher Dimension Church Flips Traditional Halloween by Replacing Its Spooky Reputation With Positivity Through Its Annual Hallelujah Night

HOUSTON, Oct. 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Higher Dimension Church and its Office of Community Empowerment will reach out to the Westwood community with its annual Hallelujah Night. The community is invited to celebrate in the festivities on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 7:00 p.m. at Higher Dimension Church. The Church located at 9800 Club Creek in Southwest Houston has made its mission to empower and inspire those that are in need.

The Westwood Community is a neighborhood that has been riddled with both crime and prostitution. Higher Dimension Church and its Office of Community Empowerment have decided that they are the instrument that God is using to bring education, prosperity and joy to its neighbors. With the planting of its new Higher Dimension Español Church, the event will have an opportunity to embrace a predominantly Hispanic community. The organizers hope to engage families to help create a community that neighbors of Westwood and the Higher Dimension Church could be proud of.

In the past, Halloween had a reputation connected to the promotion of darkness and evil. However, the outreach event and its activities are created for the flipside to traditional Halloween celebrations. The event will deploy its outreach efforts using the "Trunk or Treat" theme. Ministry groups are gearing up to decorate their car trunks in preparation for the many children expecting lots of holiday treats.

With the inclusion of free food and games, a live talent show, and a local radio station disc jockey, the church expects to serve at least 1000 men, women and children to be a part of this empowerment outreach. Higher Dimension Church is excited to spread a spirit of generosity in the community by providing an opportunity for engagement for youth and their families in Westwood.
