Estes PARK, Colo- Come enjoy a white Christmas cozied up by the fire surrounded by Colorados most scenic mountain areas.

YMCA of the Rockies has provided affordable and memorable family vacations for more than 100 years. Holiday rates begin at $114 for hotel-style lodges, and $129 for cabins. Available accommodations include 2-4 bedroom cabins, 3-5 bedroom vacation homes, larger family reunion style cabins, and hotel-style lodging with community dining.

Holiday festivities will be in full swing at each location where travelers can schedule a holiday program that will keep everyone busy and full of cheer.

Snow Mountain Ranch:
Snap some photos of the kids learning how to snowshoe and cross country ski on the 100+ kilometers of trails at the Nordic Center. Ice skating, sledding and tubing are popular activities for guests year after year. Snow Mountain Ranchs Sombrero Stables offers hot cocoa sleigh rides or winter horseback tours where guests can enjoy the pristine snow-covered landscape, toast marshmallows, make snow angels and ride the beautiful horses.

The YMCAs more adventurous guests might like to bring the pooch along for the ride and try out a new sport, like skijoring at the Nordic Center. Or bust out the climbing gear on a sunny winter day and test out Snow Mountain Ranch Kiva Centers new three-story climbing wall that looks like a real rock opening in January 2013!

Estes Park:
The Sweet Memorial Building at the Estes Park Center offers the chance to make handmade holiday craft home to hang on the tree next year. Kids can sit down in and listen to a resident storyteller for magical tales and to performers play family-friendly songs, create paper snowflakes and decorate snowman cookies and ginger bread houses or the whole family can watch classic holiday movies to fuel that Christmas spirit. YMCA of the Rockies at Estes Park is truly a great place to unplug and unwind spending the holidays with your loved ones.

Both locations allow visitors to openly practice their faith with worship opportunities and chaplain programs.

YMCA of the Rockies offers nature hikes, history tours, indoor swimming, snow sports lessons and many other free and low cost activities throughout the year.
