AdvancePierre Foods Expands Use of Kronos to Include HR and Payroll
Kronos Incorporated today announced that AdvancePierre Foods has expanded its use of Kronos workforce management solutions by adding HR and payroll to more effectively manage its workforce. AdvancePierre already uses Kronos for time and attendance and absence management.
- With more than 4,000 associates across 11 facilities, AdvancePierre needed a way to centralize and streamline HR and payroll processes across all locations.
- Having used a service bureau for its payroll for many years, AdvancePierre wanted to move the function in house to retain more control over the process.
- The Kronos payroll solution is easy and intuitive to use but also capable of managing the complexities of multiple pay grades and job codes.
- AdvancePierre was drawn to Kronos' ability to provide a single HR system to contain all associate records, giving managers easy access to the information they need to reduce errors and enforce policies consistently.
- The reporting capabilities of the HR system were also a big selling point, as managers now have access to the data they need to make informed decisions in real time with limited administrative overhead.
- Rather than have its own IT team manage the Kronos solution, AdvancePierre uses Kronos cloud services to handle all upgrades and maintenance, freeing resources internally to focus on other business-critical issues.
