Stroll Named to Philadelphia 100 List of Fastest-Growing Privately-Held Companies
Stroll, a next generation education e-commerce platform company and marketer of the Pimsleur Approach language learning program, announced today that it has been ranked one of the region's fastest-growing, privately-held companies by the prestigious Philadelphia 100. Stroll was ranked No. 46 overall, based on verified revenue growth.
The company was recognized by Wharton Small Business Development Center, the Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Business Journal for its explosive 105% growth in 2011, with revenues up to $35 million from $17 million in 2010. Stroll has a history of fast and steady advancement, with a compounded annual growth rate of over 70% since 2002. This ranking marks Stroll's fifth consecutive year on the list, and as a result, its induction into the Hall of Fame.
“It is an honor to be, once again, recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the region,” said Dan Roitman, founder and chief executive officer of Stroll. “Our team's consistent execution and relentless focus on optimization has continued to have a profound impact on our results. Each year we continue to grow and make progress toward our goal of becoming a $1 billion+ company by 2020. I'm proud to have the efforts of our team acknowledged again by such well-respected organizations here in Philadelphia.”
The Philadelphia 100 program was created in 1998 to honor local entrepreneurs and their contributions to the economy. Winners were publicly honored at an evening Gala Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, October 24th at the Annenberg Center on the University of Pennsylvania Campus.
