American Medical Response Announces National Ambulance Provider Agreement with Aetna

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

American Medical Response (AMR) announced today that they have signed a multi-year agreement with Aetna (NYSE: AET) naming AMR as one of Aetna's national providers for ground and air ambulance services. AMR operations across the nation began providing services under the agreement October 1, 2012.

The agreement provides for non-emergency ambulance services for members enrolled in Aetna's Medicare and commercial insurance products.
