StreamingMedia.com, producer of the most prestigious and widely acclaimed events for the business and technology of streaming and online video, today announced that Eric Anderson, Vice President of Content and Product Solutions at Samsung Electronics America, will deliver the opening keynote address at Streaming Media West 2012. This year's conference will be held October 30-31 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
Scheduled for Tuesday, October 30, from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Anderson will examine the ways in which today's market is poised to engage multitasking consumers with interactive content across a multitude of screens, and how companies such as Samsung are prepared to deliver solutions that meet consumers' needs. Anderson will also discuss some of the new ways consumers can interact with Smart TV apps and how the living room experience is embracing the notion of “TV everywhere.” Additionally, he will showcase technology that enables a new level of interactivity in the living room.
“With so many different technologies converging, there's never been a more exciting time for streaming content,” said Anderson. “I'm honored to participate in this leading industry event to discuss the connected home and the future of home entertainment.”
