Clear Vision Information Systems Selected by EPIC Management to Assist Medical Groups in Caring for Medicare Advantage Patients
Clear Vision Information Systems announced today that it has entered into an agreement with EPIC Management to help EPIC's affiliated physician groups better manage care for their Medicare Advantage patients. Such efforts have shown to lead to improved outcomes for the patient while optimizing revenue for the provider.
EPIC Management provides management and consulting services to some of Southern California's best-known physician groups and IPAs, including Beaver Medical Group, San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, Pinnacle Medical Group, Redlands-Yucaipa Medical Group, Alliance Desert Physicians, Tri-Valley Medical Group, Loma Linda University-Beaver Urgent Care and Inland Women's Care Associates. These more than 200 affiliated physicians provide health services to approximately 150,000 patients throughout the Inland Empire.
Through this new agreement EPIC Management will have access to Clear Vision's RevenueMax service, a powerful data-intelligence tool that monitors the reporting of clinical data to Medicare, identifies chronic conditions and patterns of care, and pinpoints gaps in reporting and treatment. With RevenueMax, physicians affiliated with EPIC Management will be able to isolate patients with chronic conditions that are missing assessments, create patient evaluation forms to ensure chronic conditions are assessed, develop quick lists for patient engagement, and align revenue with expected costs of care.
“RevenueMax is a turnkey tool that helps ensure that all of a patient's needs are being identified and properly addressed, particularly in the areas of chronic care which is so common among seniors,” said Tom Peterson, president and CEO of Clear Vision. “We appreciate the confidence and support EPIC Management has placed in us, and we look forward to working with their outstanding network of physicians.”
For medical groups and health plans nationwide, RevenueMax has proven to be integral to care management, finance and compliance. By delivering full-circle insight and data transparency, RevenueMax makes the connection between services delivered and CMS revenue received. It allows physicians to focus their patient care strategies based on real-time data that is refreshed monthly … and that allows providers to spend more time with patients, not paperwork.
