International environmental consulting firm appoints Robert Liles to oversee the new office that will help Trinity Consultants better serve the Rocky Mountain region.

Trinity Consultants, an international environmental consulting firm that specializes in industrial air quality issues, recently opened an office in Denver to better serve the Rocky Mountain region. Robert Liles, an environmental professional with more than two decades of experience, will oversee the new office. Mr. Liles directs Trinity's operations throughout the Southwest. He has assisted dozens of facilities with their air quality regulatory challenges, including state and federal air quality permitting, environmental data management system development, ambient monitoring, air dispersion modeling, greenhouse gas reporting, climate change and carbon foot print analyses, emissions inventories, control technology reviews, litigation support, and air toxics evaluations.

Trinity serves a wide variety of industries in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, including refineries, oil and gas operations, aggregates, cement manufacturing, and mining. Recent client engagements in Colorado include:

  •      New Source Review (NSR) and Title V permitting and compliance support for a Colorado refinery.
  •      Ongoing regulatory applicability and permitting assistance for rail yards located in Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
  •      Permitting and compliance assistance for area oil and gas operators including E&P, midstream, gas processing, transmission, and distribution.
  •      Ongoing compliance assistance for numerous electric generating facilities in the region.

In addition to his extensive consulting and project management experience, Liles is a frequent instructor of Trinity's courses on air quality regulations and permitting requirements and a registered environmental professional (REP). He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Atmospheric Sciences from Texas A&M University.
