AGC Partners Opens Office in London
AGC Partners (formerly America's Growth Capital), a Boston, MA (USA)-based, emerging growth-focused investment bank, announced today the opening of an office in London and the addition to the team of veteran technology banker Bruno Tourme, who will lead the firm's efforts on the ground in Europe.
The past two years has been a period of strong expansion for the firm, with the addition of 5 partners and new offices in New York and Minneapolis. “We have always considered Europe as a key market, given the strength of its technology sectors, growing entrepreneurial culture and increased access to growth capital at all stages,” said Ben Howe, CEO of AGC Partners. “London was always a clear target for us as the gateway to Europe, and we are delighted to have a proven and seasoned veteran in Bruno Tourme spearheading our efforts across the continent from this new office. He joins us from Bryan Garnier, a firm with which we have had a long-standing partnership and with which we will continue to partner in the future. Bruno will be in a strong position to leverage AGC's considerable platform and network of resources and relationships for the benefit of existing and future clients both in the U.K. and on the Continent.”
Tourme joins AGC Partners as Partner and Head of Europe. He was previously Managing Partner, Head of Technology at Bryan, Garnier & Co. As CEO of Giga Group and with eight collective years in a lead operating role, Tourme brings entrepreneurs insights from their world as well as those of an investment banker. He is uniquely positioned to leverage the strong transactional experience and sector expertise of his partners at AGC in the U.S. for the benefit of his extensive network of entrepreneurs, investors and strategic buyers in Europe.
