CSR™ Named Finalist for Electronic Transactions Association Award

JENSEN BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

CSR, the trusted leader in promoting a "Culture of Compliance" within the financial services industry through its portal of compliance-focused products and services, has been honored by the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) as a finalist for the 2012 Technology Innovation Award.

Formed in 1990, the ETA is the premier representational body for the payments industry. ETA members include the largest banks, processors and technology re-sellers in the world. Organizers of the 2012 ETA Annual Meeting & Expo at the Mandalay Bay April 17-19, the ETA provides a platform for education, networking and partnership opportunities for 3,500 payments professionals.

The technology inside the patent-pending CSR Breach Reporting ToolKit™ being recognized parses up-to-date legislative, judicial and federal agency requirements together with recent data breach litigation incidents. The system then creates automated reporting that allows the timely and accurate notifications to be made to all appropriate compliance authorities.

“The Breach Reporting ToolKit takes a giant leap forward by providing accurate breach reporting for all merchants and payment organizations, thereby reducing the difficulty in fully complying with legal and brand mandates. Formerly, this level of service was only accessible to those who could afford the largest law firms or consultancies. Timing is critical to reduce further penalties. Reducing the complexity in order to expedite reporting is the big challenge that the Breach Reporting ToolKit addresses,” according to Ross Federgreen, CSR founder.

"The CSR Breach Reporting ToolKit helps payment processors turn compliance into revenue with current merchants, attract new merchants and open new sales channels to non-merchants. The merchant doesn't even need to be a processing client for the reseller to enjoy ongoing revenues from the CSR Breach Reporting Toolkit," says Darrel Anderson, CSR executive vice president, client solutions.

The Technology Innovation Award is given annually to the ETA member company whose use of technology within the transaction processing industry increases standardization, promotes customer usability, increases profitability, or otherwise makes significant advances for the industry.

CSR team members will be on hand to demonstrate the "Magic of Turning Compliance into Revenue" with the CSR Breach Reporting ToolKit as well as other unique compliance services and products during the 2012 Annual ETA Meeting & Expo at Booth #848. Announcements of the winner of ETA's Technology Innovation Award will be made Thursday, April 19th.
