Principal Management Group of North Texas Congratulates Employees on Designations

Principal Management Group of North Texas (PMG North Texas), an Associa company, proudly announces that Edward Laskey and April Tuey recently earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation through the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management and is recommended for experienced managers who want to demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge and who wish to be recognized as one of the best and most experienced managers in the nation.

To earn the PCAM designation, a community manager must have at least five years direct community association management experience, successfully pass their CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) examination, pass six related courses through CAI and complete an extensive case study among numerous other items.

As vice president of management services, Laskey oversees all management and administrative operations for PMG North Texas and First Avenue Realty. With a total of 14 years experience in the industry, he joined the company two years ago as regional vice president of the Frisco office.

Currently serving as senior association manager in the Frisco office, Tuey joined PMG North Texas in 2007 and is a past recipient of the firm's Manager of the Year award. Her past experience in restaurant management and as a paralegal contribute to the high level of customer service and leadership skills she brings to her position.
