Eaton Vance Short Duration Diversified Income Fund Declares Monthly Distribution

BOSTON, March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Short Duration Diversified Income Fund EVG, a closed-end management investment company, today declared a monthly distribution of $0.09 per common share. As portfolio and market conditions change, the rate of future distributions may change. The distribution is expected to be paid on March 30, 2012, to shareholders of record on March 23, 2012.  The ex-date is March 21, 2012.

At this time the Fund believes that a portion of the March distribution may be comprised of amounts from sources other than net investment income.  If that is the case, you will be notified in writing.  Further information will be available prior to the payment date at   http://funds.eatonvance.com.  The final determination of tax characteristics of the Fund's distributions will occur after the end of the year, at which time it will be reported to the shareholders.
