Knoa Software Continues its Market Focus with the Announcement of Tim Murphy as Vice President of Software Development
Knoa® Software, the leading provider of end-user management software, today announced that Tim Murphy will be taking on the role of Vice President of Software Development. Murphy brings more than 25 years of development experience in creating innovative systems in Business Process Management (BPM), scientific visualization and finance. Reporting to Knoa Software Chief Executive Officer, Thad Eidman, Murphy will manage the development of Knoa's line of leading-edge user experience and performance management solutions.
“Technology superiority is a key component to the success of our business and a major focus of our senior executive team,” said Eidman. “Tim brings a depth of understanding of enterprise-level systems development which is instrumental to the Fortune 500 customers that we currently work with. His ability to lead development teams to create scalable, seamless and innovative solutions, uniquely positions Knoa to meet the challenges of the rapidly evolving end-user space. In this role, Tim will work closely with Dr. Philip Lui, who as CTO of Knoa leads our overall technology strategy.”
Knoa's Experience and Performance Management (EPM) solution provides total monitoring coverage of end-user behavior and experience for leading enterprise applications including SAP®, Oracle e-Business Suite®, Oracle Siebel CRM®, JD Edwards® and PeopleSoft Enterprise Suite®. Knoa EPM delivers precise metrics about application performance, as well as an unprecedented level of visibility into how end-users are interacting with the application. With this insight, application support teams can pinpoint and eliminate application/system issues, see shortfalls in end-user performance and identify opportunities for further training.
“Knoa's award-winning technology is unique to the industry. We have a highly scalable enterprise architecture that provides rich insight into end-user adoption and usage with none of the usual application level scripting – it is completely automated,” said Murphy. “Knoa is truly breaking new ground in terms of the rapid recognition of value to both IT and business decision-makers who are trying to maximize the value of their infrastructure investments. This is a new direction in improving the way people interact with their corporate infrastructure.”
Before joining Knoa, Murphy was Director of Software Development, North America at Markit, a privately held financial services organization, Director of Applications Systems Development with Mobius System, now a division of Allen Systems Group, Inc. and prior to that in senior development roles in Nomura Securities International, Inc. and IBM Corp.
