MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

WatchDox, a provider of enterprise solutions to access, protect and control sensitive documents on any device, anywhere, today announced that it has hired former ArcSight executives Ryan Kalember as chief marketing officer, Dan Barahona as vice president of business development, and former InQuira executive Tom Aitchison as executive vice president of worldwide sales. All three will focus on driving WatchDox's growth as more large enterprises -- faced with the challenges posed by bring-your-own-device (BYOD) and mobility initiatives, the growth of the iPad as an enterprise computing device, and the dissolution of the enterprise security perimeter -- turn to WatchDox to secure their critical information assets.

As chief marketing officer, Kalember is responsible for WatchDox's product strategy and marketing, bringing with him 14 years of information security experience. Prior to WatchDox, Kalember ran solutions across Hewlett Packard's (HP) portfolio of security products and served as director of products at ArcSight before its acquisition by HP. Kalember was also one of the founding members of Guardent's consulting practice, later acquired by VeriSign, where he helped clients build many of the world's leading security organizations.

Barahona, vice president of business development, is responsible for creating strategic partnerships and driving new market opportunities on behalf of the company. Before joining WatchDox, Barahona was vice president of business development at ArcSight, where he led the company's technology alliances and partner ecosystem, as well as ArcSight's integration into HP after its acquisition. Barahona was also part of Sensage's ground-floor team, which drove the company's transformation into the information security space.

Aitchison, executive vice president of worldwide sales, has more than 20 years of sales and sales management experience in the high tech industry and a track record of building highly successful field organizations and delivering strong revenue results and growth. Prior to joining WatchDox, Aitchison served as the executive vice president of worldwide sales at InQuira, where he helped deliver 300 percent growth in fewer than three years, leading to an acquisition by Oracle. Additionally, Aitchison served as senior vice president of sales at Comergent Technologies, where strong growth and results led to an acquisition by Sterling Commerce/AT&T.

“By bringing these highly skilled executives on board, WatchDox strengthens its management team and sets a foundation for the company's continued growth,” said Moti Rafalin, CEO of WatchDox. “Building on years of industry experience and success in the information security and technology industries, Ryan, Dan and Tom will play key roles in propelling WatchDox forward as an industry leader.”
