Curian Capital Appoints New Vice President of Practice Management

Curian Capital, LLC (www.Curian.com) today announced that Keith Johnson has joined the firm as vice president of Practice Management. In this role, Mr. Johnson, 59, will be responsible for leading the Practice Management Group and working closely with financial advisors to provide them with the education, tools and support they need to manage and grow their businesses.
Mr. Johnson will be responsible for enhancing Curian's practice management platform by creating new adviser-facing educational content, sales and marketing presentations, tools and resources. Mr. Johnson will also work with Curian's Strategic Account's Team to consult and build relationships with the organization's broker-dealer partners. Offerings will include business consulting and coaching programs that enable financial advisors to improve the efficiency, productivity and profitability of their practices. He will be based in Denver and report to Mark Schoenbeck, senior vice president of Marketing.

Mr. Johnson joins Curian from Aloha Retirement Services, LLC, a financial planning and investment advisory firm, where he served as president. Prior to this role, he founded My Power Unleashed, LLC, where he provided consulting and coaching for independent business owners in the financial services industry. Mr. Johnson also served as vice president for AIG Advisor Group in Phoenix and as senior vice president of VIST Bank in Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Philadelphia Biblical University. Mr. Johnson is a Certified Financial Planner™ and holds Series 7, 8, 63 and 65 securities registrations.
