MedSpring Urgent Care today announced the opening of its third Austin center. The center is conveniently situated on the Drag at 2120 Guadalupe Street, Austin, TX 78705, to serve University of Texas and downtown Austin residents. The center is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. to treat illnesses and non-life-threatening injuries. A physician is on staff at all times.

MedSpring offers a more comprehensive urgent care experience by having onsite lab and X-ray services, saving its patients time and money. Nationally, the average time to complete an emergency room visit is over four hours, versus an hour or less for most MedSpring visits. Two additional MedSpring centers are currently open in Austin. The Anderson Mill center is located at 11521 N. Ranch Road 620 (FM 620 and Anderson Mill Road). The Cedar Park center is located at 1335 E. Whitestone Blvd. (NE corner of the intersection of 183A and FM 1431).

MedSpring has announced plans to open four additional centers -- two in Austin and two in Houston -- over the coming months.
