Newly Appointed Board Members Set to Kick Off the First Peer-to-Peer Community Roundtable of 2012. CFOs Will Explore “Managing Toward Growth — A CFO's Guide to the Human Capital.”

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) January 05, 2012

The CFO Alliance (CFOA), the leading global community for Chief Financial Officers and finance leaders across the country, has named five North Texas members to serve on the group's Board of Advisors. These CFOs are representatives of the North Texas business community who see value in peer-to-peer discussions to discuss issues they face in their respective functional roles. With the combined goal of “Fueling Confident CFO Decision-Making” over the course of the next 12 months, these board members will help to shape and influence roundtable discussions in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Those initially selected to lead The CFO Alliance's Dallas/Fort Worth Community as the Board of Advisors include:

  •     Chris Mantzuranis, executive vice president and CFO of AER Manufacturing
  •     Dana Goodman, CFO of Combs Produce
  •     Kenny Talley, CFO of Womack Machine Supply
  •     Keath Hance, CFO of MCrowd Restaurant Group, Inc.
  •     Deanna White, CFO of Flexjet, Inc.

These board members, along with representatives from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Texas Christian University (TCU), Mercer, and McGladrey will host the first peer-to-peer breakfast roundtable of 2012 to explore “Managing Toward Growth — A CFO's Guide to the Human Capital.” CFOs and other finance leaders will network and share best practices on how to access human capital and manage their organizations towards growth in 2012.

The organization's first roundtable meeting of the year is slated to take place Tuesday, January 17, 2012, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Collins Executive Educational Center on the Southern Methodist University campus. Participation is exclusive to finance executives; click here for more information.

The exchange of ideas exploring emerging models in human capital investment will be facilitated by a faculty member of the SMU Cox School of Business. This CFO Alliance peer discussion with North Texas CFOs and business community leaders will cover the first of a series of issues in 2012 empowering CFO decision-making. Some of the issues include:

  •     Rethinking Capital Structures
  •     Global Consumer Shifts
  •     Rebuilding the Risk Function
  •     Healthcare Transformation
  •     Rethinking the Strategic Plan
