TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 2, 2012) - Applebee's Canada is pleased to announce the expansion of its Unbelievably Great Tasting & Under 550 Calories (U550) menu. Guests can resolve to have it all this year with three new full-size portioned and fantastically delicious U550 menu entrees.

Steak lovers can resolve to have it all with the new Roasted Garlic Steak - Garlic marinated 7oz steak and sauteed onions are served with herb potatoes and a grilled Portobello mushroom cap filled with creamed spinach - 410 calories per 372g serving.
The new Sizzling Chili Lime Chicken is the perfect choice for those seeking a spicy entree - Spicy chili sauce meets tender grilled chicken and colourful Asian-style vegetables in this skillet full of flavour. Served over rice with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice - 410 calories per 453g serving.
