Actor John Nicholson recently donated to the Wounded Warrior Project in order to show his support for our dedicated troops and his brother who is currently undergoing rehabilitation for injuries he sustained while in Afghanistan, working as a contractor for the U.S. government. John Nicholson made the donation following a Taliban attack in which his brother suffered losing both of his legs and two team members. The attack on Actor John Nicholson's brother, David, occurred in May while he was in Afghanistan, working as a contractor for the U.S. government when the Taliban attacked his team with rockets and grenades.

Actor John Nicholson, in light of his brother's tragedy and consequent rehabilitation process, felt motivated to donate to a cause whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. The Wounded Warriors Project is dedicated to raising awareness and enlisting the public's aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.

Although the brother of Actor John Nicholson wasn't a US soldier, it was US soldiers who were nearby when the attack took place that put their own lives at risk to come to the aid of actor John Nicholson's brother. “Words cannot express my gratitude for the men and women who courageously fight for our country,” explained actor John Nicholson . “I am eternally grateful for all of our troops, especially those that risked their own lives to help save my brother.”

Actor John Nicholson is reaching out to prompt others to do what they can to show their support for our brave troops who so willingly fight for our freedoms every day.“Making a donation was easy,” noted actor John Nicholson.
