HighRoads Adds Maureen Cotter to Health and Welfare Consulting Team

A 25-year veteran in building benefits management strategies for notable Fortune 1000 clients and healthcare organizations, Cotter joins HighRoads' growing team of health and welfare consulting experts.

Prior to joining HighRoads, Cotter was the founder of Maureen Cotter & Associates, Inc. Previous to that, she served as the Global Director of Group and Healthcare Consulting for Watson Wyatt Worldwide and sat on the Board of Directors of Watson Wyatt & Company (NYSE: WW). She has also held leadership positions with Mercer Human Resource Consulting and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.

As a noted contributor to improving the quality and affordability of healthcare in America, Cotter has been active in a number of organizations, including the Purchaser Advisory Council for the National Committee for Quality Assurance, The Healthcare Roundtable, and the National Advisory Committee for the California Health Benefits Review Program. She was also one of the founding directors of the National Business Group on Health Institute on Health Care Costs and Solutions.
