Stonestreet One Partners with Freescale as Bluetooth Software Provider for Home Health Hub Platform

Stonestreet One, a leading provider of Bluetooth® software solutions since 2000, has partnered with Freescale Semiconductor (Freescale) FSL on the development of the Home Health Hub (HHH) reference platform, which provides medical manufacturers a turnkey design to quickly and easily create a remote access device to collect, connect and share health data for improved healthcare management. The platform also provides wired and wireless connectivity to end healthcare devices such as blood pressure monitors, blood glucometers, weight scale, pulse oximeters, etc. To enable the Bluetooth connectivity, the platform includes Stonestreet One's Bluetopia® protocol stack that supports classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy.

Bluetopia is Stonestreet One's implementation of the upper layers of the Bluetooth protocol stack. Bluetopia eases Bluetooth application development by providing a robust and flexible software development tool that implements the Bluetooth Protocols and Profiles above the Host Controller Interface (HCI). Bluetopia interfaces directly to the most popular Bluetooth chips and is also available across multiple operating systems and processors.
