Funbrain Launches Newly Redesigned Website with Fun Math & Reading Games for Kids

Safe, Online Environment Trusted by Teachers & Parents Now Easier to Navigate, Search

Boston, MA (PRWEB) August 10, 2011

Funbrain has launched its new website, which is now easier than ever for kids to navigate and find new games to play, as well as enjoy their old favorites. In addition, when teachers and librarians visit the safe, fun, online environment, they will find it simpler to discover and recommend games for their students based on subject or grade level. Funbrain is a popular free website, trusted by teachers and parents and loved by kids since its launch in 1997.

By simply visiting the new Funbrain Kids Center, teachers, librarians, parents and kids can quickly search all games by popularity, grade level K-8, or subject, including math, language arts, science, history and geography. Or they can go to the Math Arcade, where they will find 25 games targeted to players' skill levels. Funbrain's Reading Arcade features all-time favorite books, such as the first in “The New York Times” bestselling series, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” by Jeff Kinney, which debuted on Funbrain.com in May 2004; comics, and word games.

“For nearly 15 years, parents, teachers and librarians have turned to Funbrain as a great source of fun and learning for kids,” said Jess M. Brallier, publisher of Funbrain. “Now with this redesign, the safe, fun site is easier than ever before to navigate and find games and books that are both engaging and educational. This redesign is just one part of our continued commitment to making Funbrain the go-to destination for educational entertainment in schools and at home. We will also be adding new engaging online games and activities in the near future.”

For preschoolers, Funbrain's much-loved Playground features hours of fun and educational games and stories. The simple, mouse-driven, educational online games foster hand-eye coordination and visual acuity, as well as reinforce important concepts, such as counting.
