Shipshewana, IN (PRWEB) August 09, 2011

Amish Furniture and other local products fill the recently completed LaGrange County Library in Northern Indiana. Since March 2010, the LaGrange County Indiana Library moved into a temporary location while the existing library was re-built. The library project retained the original Carnegie and former Town Hall buildings in downtown LaGrange, Indiana, but expanded many of the library's services, including a completely renovated interior with a new layout, new furniture and fixtures, and a converted building design that is now handicap accessible.

Weaver Furniture Sales, a local Shipshewana furniture company, contributed to this project by providing many of the tables, chairs, filing cabinets and office furniture. The locally-built Amish Furniture from Weaver's was selected primarily because the pieces were solid wood furniture offered by a local company. Many other local vendors in Northeastern Indiana also contributed to the Library Project.

“We were delighted to help the local library and the local community with this project,” stated LeRoy Weaver, owner of Weaver Furniture Sales.

The LaGrange County Library opened with an open house and ribbon cutting Ceremony on July 30, 2011. The new library opened for business on August 1, 2011. For more information about the library and its services visit their website at lagrange.lib.in.us.
