3.    Learn about Social Media Marketing. The phenomenon of social networking is apparent, but what isn't apparent is how to use social media in your marketing efforts. Social media marketing works to build the prospect base of a business through the opinions of its current customers while increasing the business' search engine ranking.

4.    Use Google Map Listings. Many business owners never think of this one simple marketing piece, which can bring in hundreds of customers within a 25 kilometre radius of their business. Google Map Listings not only get the name of the business out there, but also tell customers exactly where to find them.
