BancTec Grows Global Services in India with Expansion of BPO Center

BancTec increases its India-based presence with the growth of its New Delhi Center of Excellence.

The expansion of the center in Noida, New Delhi, strengthens BancTec's global network of 19 Centers of Excellence across Europe, APAC and the Americas.

BancTec's IT teams in India support BancTec's product development and professional services groups. BPO services include payment processing, document imaging, data capture, invoicing processing, correspondence management, archive and SaaS hosting.

The Indian operation is a wholly owned BancTec subsidiary, which provides higher levels of control and consistency over the outsourcing process. BancTec India operates to the same standards as BancTec's North American and European teams to satisfy all compliance and security requirements relating to the processing of confidential data. The expanded facility provides best-in-class continuity services as well as a partner site in Chennai for disaster recovery.

BancTec expects to employ more than 200 people at its newly expanded Indian Center of Excellence by the end of 2011.
