New Book Tells of Cancer Survivor's Miraculous Healing

Malignant tumor healed, patient lives to tell story.

Port St. Lucie, FL (PRWEB) July 14, 2011

When asked what inspired her to write her new book The Cocktail: That is What Cured My Colon Cancer (published by AuthorHouse), author and cancer survivor Lorna Richardson replied, “God's awesomeness.” It is a reply echoed by her readers. “The Cocktail is a book that should be kept in every health institution and on every household book shelve (sic),” writes reader Avis Marshall. “During challenging moments when restoration seems completely out of reach it redirects our thinking.”

The Cocktail chronicles Richardson's diagnosis of cancer with a malignant tumor and her subsequent miraculous healing. It was a miracle that she knew must be told. “How could I not show appreciation to God who heard my cry, reached down and removed me from my surgeon's grip?” says Richardson. “A God who provided the last ingredient for my cancer cure cocktail and defended me for His Glory and for my good?”

Richardson notes that readers are often moved to tears upon learning how God manifested himself through a tea called Sour Sop.

“I have seen so many of them cry when reading the book,” says Richardson. “Cry when they realize that the cancer institute and other research groups have isolated compounds in the leaves and seeds of the Sour Sop and that they were selectively catatonic to colon cancer and were 10,000 times the potency of Adriamycin which is a commonly used chemotherapy drug. Readers cry after proving that the leaves and bark of the Sour Sop tree help them overcome depression, high blood pressure and insomnia. Readers cry when they witnessed my miraculous recovery and listening to testimonials concerning the Sour Sop tea.”

The cocktail as explained by Richardson is a mixture of God's awesomeness, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a few cups of the Sour Sop tea. With the release of The Cocktail she hopes to inspire those struggling to overcome their own challenges.
