The media is invited to the Air Canada Base of Montreal-Trudeau Airport on Sunday, September 12, to attend the 12th presentation of the 767 Challenge, a charity event that brings together strong men and women to take on the challenge: pulling an Airbus airliner with their bare hands! This original activity is organized for the benefit of Special Olympics Quebec's 4,000 athletes by the Montreal Police Department with the collaboration of Aeroports de Montreal (ADM), Air Canada and the City of Dorval.

The friendly competition, will start at 10 a.m. with the Special Olympics athletes team symbolic plane pull. An Airbus weighing 72,767 kilos must be pulled over a distance of 3,5 meters in the fastest time. One after the other, the 30 teams of 15 members representing companies in the Montreal area as well as 9 neighbourhood stations from the Montreal Police Department will pull together to win one of the following titles: fastest pull, lowest team-weight pull and most dynamic team.

This fun one-of-a-kind event is free and open to the public. In addition to the plane pull contest, there will be a number of activities for the whole family such as inflatable games and mascots. Several units of the Montreal Police Department will have their booth and four STM vintage buses will be exposed. Also, the airport's falconers will meet the public.
