WUSC to Host Hundreds at Annual General Assembly in Ottawa

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 10, 2009) - From November 13th to 15th World University Service of Canada will be holding its 63rd Annual General Assembly at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 101 Lyon Street, Ottawa.

The assembly's theme will be Peace and Conflict: Effective Development in Fragile Places. Hundreds of students, alumni and honoured guests from across Canada will attend.

Reception and awards ceremony will take place Friday, November 13th at 6:00pm.

On Saturday, November 14th, keynote address will be given by Carolyn McAskie, former Assistant Secretary General for Peacebuilding for the United Nations.
