Assured Guaranty Ltd. (NYSE:AGO) advanced 8.01% to $22.66 on 4.97 million shares after the company this week announced that it has commenced a secondary public offering of 16,400,000 AGL common shares owned by Dexia SA (the Selling Shareholder). All common shares being offered are being sold by the Selling Shareholder.
Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE:ABK) went up 3.20% to close at $0.800 on 29.47 million shares.
The PMI Group, Inc. (NYSE:PMI) added 4.22% to $3.21 on 6.10 million shares.
Radian Group Inc. (NYSE:RDN) also went up 4.23% to $11.58 on 5.33 million shares. The stock is up over 733% in the last one year of trading sessions.
MBIA Inc. (NYSE:MBI) gained 6.91% to $5.88 on 10.57 million shares.
