Dallas, Tx - Palm, Inc. (NASDAQ:PALM) lost 2.80% to $5.55 on 32.07 million shares after the company was downgraded from an analyst at Macquarie this morning to Underperform. Macquarie's new price target on Palm suggests further downside of more than 30% from where the stock is trading this morning.

International Coal Group, Inc. (NYSE:ICO) fell 10.36% to $4.24 on 6.63 million shares

 




after the company announced that it has commenced public offering of up to 21.2 million shares of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share; $75.0 million aggregate principal amount of its Convertible Senior Notes due 2017; and $200.0 million aggregate principal amount of its Senior Secured Second-Priority Notes due 2018 pursuant to the Company's effective shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

General Moly, Inc. (AMEX:GMO) also went down 7.77% to $3.68 on 4.05 million shares.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) slid 0.10% to $20.77 on 35.74 million shares.

Alcoa Inc. (NYSE:AA) lost 0.43% to $13.78 on 32.47 million shares.

General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) dropped 0.49% to $16.27 on 53.68 million shares.

Poniard Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:PARD) plunged 9.60% to $1.60 on 5.11 million shares.

The E.W. Scripps Company (NYSE:SSP) declined 1.03% to $9.60 on 3.59 million shares.
