Homebuilder Stocks Turn lower after sales data (DHI, LEN, KBH, PHM, BZH)


(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 04, 2010 ) Dallas, Tx - Most of the Homebuilder Stocks turns lower after opening higher. Today, The National Association of Realtors' pending home sales index fell a seasonally adjusted 7.6% for the first month of 2010, a reversal from a revised 0.8% gain in December. The index remained 8.8% higher than in January 2009.

D.R. Horton, Inc. (NYSE:DHI) fell 0.32% to $12.53 after opening 1% higher.

Lennar Corporation (NYSE:LEN) declined 2% to $16.45. The stock opened 1% up.

KB Home (NYSE:KBH) fell 0.20% to $16.84, off day's high of $17.09.

Pulte Homes, Inc. (NYSE:PHM) also fell 0.73% to $10.85 after rising as much as 1.50% earlier in the session.

Beazer Homes USA, Inc. (NYSE:BZH) slid 0.36% to $4.20 after opening 2% high.
