3/20/2010- Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) released a new unlocked version of the Nexus One Android phone that will work on AT&T's (NYSE: T) 3G spectrum bands, which may spur wider distribution for the phone, according to a Fierce Wireless report.

The Nexus One was previously only compatible with T-Mobile's UMTS bands as well as AT&T's slower EDGE data network.

A new version of the device is now available that can work on the 850/1900/2100 MHz bands supported by AT&T.
