Progress Energy Declares $0.62 Quarterly Dividend (PGN)
3/17/2010-Wednesday, Progress Energy's (NYSE: PGN) board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of 62 cents per share on the company's common stock, payable May 3, 2010, to shareholders of record as of April 12, 2010.
This represents a total annual dividend of $2.48 per share.
Progress Energy, headquartered in Raleigh, N.C., is a Fortune 500 energy company with more than 22,000 megawatts of generation capacity and $9 billion in annual revenues.
