H&R Block Shares Fell 1.2% After Same-Office Tax Returns Slipped 6.8% (HRB)
3/9/2010- H&R Block (NYSE: HRB) shares fell 1.2% to $16.39 after the company said that same-office tax returns prepared in retail operations slid 6.8% for the fiscal 2010 tax season.
The company reported a better-than-expected Q3 profit yesterday. However, H&R Block said it expects to miss its 2010 earnings forecast.
