Google Testing TV Search Service On Dish Network (GOOG,DISH)

3/8/2010- Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) is testing a new television programming search service on Dish Network (NASDAQ: DISH), according to a Wall Street Journal report, which cited people familiar with the matter.

The service allows users to search content from Dish, as well as other Web video sites, and runs on TV set-top boxes that include elements of Google's Android operating system.

A spokesperson for the company declined to comment.
