CTIA-The Wireless Association Statement on the FCC's Request for Additional Time to Submit the National Broadband Plan

Today, CTIA-The Wireless Association® President and CEO Steve Largent issued the following statement in response to the FCC's request for additional time to submit the national broadband plan.

"The Commission has a difficult task of developing the national broadband plan. We know the FCC has and is working diligently to complete the plan, and believe it is more important that the Commission get it right. If they need more time to get it right, then Congress should allow it."

CTIA is the international association for the wireless telecommunications industry, representing carriers, manufacturers and wireless Internet providers.
